Does the King James Bible Teach Angels Mated With Humans In Genesis Six? Many get their viewpoint of the devils (ie. fallen angels) mating with the women in Genesis 6 from the book of Enoch. I believe it is false theology, passed on from a few hyper-dispensationalists who add to the Word of God. They get it usually from one or more of three sources: either from the book of Enoch itself (which is Apocryphal writings, which contradict the Word of God), from the corrupt text of the modern versions (see below), or frankly from misreading Genesis 6:1-4; 2 Peter 2:4-6 and Jude 1:6-7.
